Okay, this is it. No more complaining about LJ's lousy interface and lack of options I wanted--now I actually have a reason to leave. It is sad, and I'm certainly not going to go without looking back, but if I don't go now, I never will, because I'm lazy, and I don't like change in an area I'm nostalgic for.

Blogging

HOWEVER.  I installed a WP plug-in that will cross-post my entries to GreatestJournal (and also update them if I edit them on WP, which is what I really wanted).  So, please friend me there if you'll be on GJ: arcanewinter.  Fanfiction will also be posted there, but only the header.  You'll have to read it via the link to the WP blog, but you can still comment via the GJ post.  I will be receiving all GJ comments and responding to them, though of course you are welcome to respond on the WP page too.

If you're not moving to GJ, and not following a friends list on GJ, you can subscribe to a feed of the posts I make (from a few sources)

It may be useful to some of you who are thinking of moving but don't know where.

What is it?

It's a profile/blogging collector.  You sign up, then you add sites where you conduct your business to your list.  If those sites have rss, it will also compile a mashup (with its own feed) of all the posts you make to any site you include on your profile.  So if you give your profilactic to other people, they can follow you anywhere, wherever you choose to go.

And by the way, if you're staying on livejournal but some friends are leaving, you can use livejournal to subscribe to their rss feed, and it'll show up on your friends page like they never left.

. . . I'm looking through the photos that jen_boo took at Otakon (and around there), and in just about every photo I took with maypirate, I look like I'm molesting her.

Which is cool with me.

In fact I was pretty much molesting everyone I could get to.  I need to learn a photograph etiquette.  Also, jen_boo has about a million pictures of me right now that I will kill her if she ever shows to anyone XD  ESPECIALLY THOSE VIDEOS >:E

Let's see if I can remember any of this D:  It's funny that remember what costume I was in at the time helps me to remember when I did things XD;;

Highlights:
• I met jen_boo and Dommi and wiccat's friend Sabs!
• I got to see wiccat, maypirate and perivates again!
  
• I found some people I'd met last year again!
• Something about Aaron Dismuke.
• I bought some overpriced stuff :D
• I got to wear a cool hat most of the time
• I probably picked up another commission

Not-so-highlights
• Either maseiya wasn't there, or she was there and we didn't find each other ;_;
• I left one of my most loved purchases at the hotel and the hotel can't find it. ._.

In regards to that last item, either 1) it's there and the hotel can't/won't find it, 2) somebody mistook the bag for theirs and packed it or 3) we threw it out

SO wiccat and perivates, have you (and Sabs) unpacked yet? The things I left were those two small prints of Roy and Hughes and those super adorable mobile phone cleaners of Havoc and Roy. :/ I'm thinking they slipped off the bed, so it's possible that they got shoved into another bag or something.

I just really, really hope that we didn't just throw them away by accident, so I'm going to believe that we didn't. :/
